Happy Halloween

Happy halloween everyone. I have an awesome pirate costume all set up to go as I am an avid follower of the FSM ( http://www.venganza.org/ ). Unfortunately- with all my friends off to uni this year I have no where to go for halloween, hence, I've taken to contemplating the act of just lying in bed singing "All by Myself" into a hairbrush, though I've never really been one for such melodrama so I think I'll give it a miss.

Instead, I reckon I'll concentrate on NaNoWriMo which starts tomorrow. I think I'm going to wait up until midnight in order to start asap, though I'm still not entirely sure what I'm going to write about. Nonetheless I reckon I'll do just fine. On a less serious note, some of you may be familiar with the custom of taking My Little Ponies (MLPs) and changing their hair colour and their designs, etc, in order to create an entirely new and unique pony of your own. It's something that I've been doing for about a year now, and I like to make them represent novels and plays.

One of my very favourite novels of all time is "Catch 22" by Joseph Heller (a satirical portrayal of WWII as seen through the eyes of a frustrated American bombardier). So, over the next few weeks -- or perhaps a little longer, depending on how things pan out with NaNoWriMo -- I will be showing you good readers the process that I go through in order to create my very own Catch 22 MLP.

Hopefully it will inspire some of you to read the novel as it really is very, very good, and if not, maybe some people will at least take up the hobby of pony customising.
